I am  from Napier in New Zealand and have 4 children and 11 Grandchildren. My wife Katrina is an Australian and we have been living in Lindfield Sydney for 15 years. Art has been a strong interest and passion  of mine. The love of art  began for me at a young age with my grandmother and mother both being artists and my sister being an art teacher. I grew up with music and painting influences. Art has been my happy place and a source of love and joy.  I also share my passion with my grandchildren. Whilst for most of my career I have been working in corporate businesses,  and I continue to be a director of a consulting company BCT Bailey P/L.  Painting and drawing  has been my passion. I enjoy being immersed in art daily  as it centres me and reminds me of the beautiful things in life. It stimulates my creative thoughts. I really love the colours and textures of Australia and New Zealand and am inspired by the rugged environment of these beautiful countries. This passion is reflected in my paintings.
